The highly-anticipated Epicurean Atlanta, Midtown’s only food and wine centric hotel, will begin welcoming guests on Thursday, September 16th. The urban chic hotel is a member of Marriott International’s Autograph Collection and the second location of the Epicurean Hotel brand, a collaboration between Mainsail Lodging & Development and the legendary Bern’s Steak House in Tampa, Fl. As one of three towers located in the 1105 West Peachtree property by Selig Development, Epicurean Atlanta will offer discerning travelers and locals alike unparalleled experiences for all tastes and appetites.

“It is my great privilege to officially invite guests and locals alike to experience Epicurean Atlanta. Our dynamic team joins an already impressive lineup of design, arts and culinary superstars in Midtown,” says Mainsail Lodging & Development president and founder Joe Collier. “It is our hope that Epicurean Atlanta provides the kind of unique and superior culturally-enriching adventure of the senses that patrons of the city have become accustomed to.”

DINING:

Epicurean Atlanta is anchored by three innovative dining concepts, all led by Executive Chef Ewart Wardhaugh. Originally from Scotland, Wardhaugh’s culinary prowess has awarded him prestigious international appointments throughout his career. At Reverence, the hotel’s signature restaurant, Chef Wardhaugh looks to combine his global experience with the very best of the region’s producers and ingredients, creating synergy between dishes and promising a hint of exploration in every bite. An early preview of the dinner menu includes dishes like King Trumpet Oyster Mushrooms with Cherry Confit, Blue Cheese, Chocolate Oil, and Truffle as well as Hay Smoked Rack of Lamb with Hazelnut Romesco, Burnt Onion and Chanterelles. The 2,886 square-foot space is outfitted with rich wood tones and luxurious textures for seating up to 127-guests with an expansive patio facing West Peachtree Street. With a dazzling show kitchen on full display, guests will observe and delight in the beautiful artistry and nimble movements of the kitchen’s culinarians. Beverage Manager Arthur Huynh worked alongside Bern’s Steak House’s renowned team of sommeliers to present a selection of offerings that flawlessly pair alongside the flavor profiles of Chef Ewart’s well-traveled cuisine. The wine program features 136 bottles as well as 26 by-the-glass options, with an emphasis on single vineyard pinot noirs for their ability to translate a true sense of place and terroir.

Located in the heart of the lush and vibrant garden setting on the 9th level Sky Terrace, Aerial Kitchen & Bar will soon be Midtown’s premier outdoor dining destination. This resort-style sanctuary will offer hotel guests, alongside surrounding high-rise residents and office personnel, the opportunity to bask in this open-air destination while enjoying refreshing cocktails and inspired bites that naturally complement the midday sun or evening sunset. Open for lunch and dinner, Aerial Kitchen & Bar celebrates South American and Mexican cuisine with a bountiful selection of raw bar offerings, ceviche preparations, and masa plates featuring tacos and more.

Conveniently situated across from the motor entrance of Epicurean Atlanta at 1105 West Peachtree, The Office Bar will offer the ideal reprieve for professionals working and living in this vibrant tech and business district. The sophisticated lounge setting features marble and leather accents, personalized bourbon lockers and plenty of TVs for sports fans to cheer on their favorite team.  Lunch and dinner will be served seven days a week, with an emphasis on a more bourbon-focused beverage program and eclectic noshes like Fried Chicken Flavored Popcorn and a Shrimp & Grits ‘Scotch Egg’ as well as seasonal salads and a selection of sandwiches. Chef Ewart looks forward to customizing special menus surrounding beloved sporting events and tournaments for a fully immersive fan experience.

Upon opening on the 16th, Reverence will be open for breakfast daily from 7 – 11 am. Dinner will be served Sunday – Thursday from 5 – 10 pm and Friday – Saturday from 5 – 11 pm. Aerial Kitchen & Bar will open Sunday – Wednesday from 11 am – 8 pm, Thursday 11 am – 9 pm, and Friday – Saturday from 11 am – 10 pm. The Office Bar will be open from 11 am – 10 pm Sunday – Thursday and Friday – Saturday from 11 am – 11 pm.
