Huddle House is starting this new quarter with exciting growth opportunities. The full-service restaurant concept has just signed a four-restaurant agreement to develop new locations in Tennessee and North Carolina with a dynamic franchisee couple, Dr. Kyle and Sarah McKamey, at the helm. This new agreement will support the Huddle House franchise development team’s desire to aggressively expand the restaurant’s footprint in the South and kickstart partnership opportunities with multi-unit operators.

Making their first foray into franchise ownership, the McKameys eagerly signed on to join the thriving Huddle House team. The couple’s territories of interest for expansion include communities along the border of Tennessee and North Carolina. Currently, Sevierville, Tennessee is the front runner for their first restaurant location, due to its tight-knit community values and strong market prospects.

“After working in the medical field for more than 20 years, my wife and I felt it was time to begin anew with a business opportunity that allowed us to live out our dream of moving to Tennessee and build a stable legacy for our two boys to partake in as they grow,” says Dr. Kyle McKamey, new Huddle House franchisee. “Huddle House’s strong business model, territories of interest and emphasis on community came onto our radar, perfectly aligning with our goals. Since signing on with the brand, we have been treated like family. Each member of the franchise development team has taken time to carefully guide and support us as we begin this journey. Sarah and I are looking forward to growing with Huddle House throughout the next few years.”

Based in Atlanta, the brand currently has more than 300 locations open or in development. Huddle House has earned a strong following across the country amongst multi-unit franchise operators due to its four-day part revenue stream and access to the $285 billion breakfast segment. In addition, the concept offers flexible formats for operators to develop from a choice of inline, endcap, retrofit and ground up designs all equipped for off-premise dining.

“We are very excited to have the McKameys on board with Huddle House. The couple’s passion for the brand and desire to make these restaurants a true family business beautifully aligns with the concept’s strong tradition of multi-generational ownership,” says Peter Ortiz, chief development officer of Huddle House and Perkins Restaurant & Bakery “The upcoming four locations the McKameys have signed on for will help Huddle House gain a strong foothold in two of our main target markets for growth: Tennessee and North Carolina. We are confident that Dr. Kyle and Sarah’s commitment to the brand and strong interpersonal skills will help them achieve success in the restaurant industry.”

Huddle House’s franchise concept is backed by a strong leadership team and is designed to attract entrepreneurs with a proven track record in the restaurant business, a close connection to their community and an interest in multi-unit ownership. In addition, the brand is looking to expand in targeted markets throughout Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Mississippi.
