Gene & Georgetti, Chicago’s original steakhouse since 1941, is celebrating 80 years serving Chicago and extends that PRIDE with a special Pride Brunch including a cabaret performance by the iconic Honey West.

“Throughout the last 18 months we have come through so much as a restaurant. And overall, we have all faced so much from this pandemic, that those of us here at G & G needed no push to start celebrating all that we have to be grateful for, and proud of. We are so happy to begin celebrating our 80th year and there is no more perfect way than with the immense talent of Honey West, during pride month! We do plan to announce a few more celebrations and fun opportunities as we continue to progress forward towards recovery from Coronavirus and will be sharing more on that soon,” says Michelle Durpetti, third-generation owner.

Entertainer Honey West has been a hit on the cabaret circuit since her debut in the 1990 one-woman show, “A Taste of Honey”. She has won two After Dark Awards as Chicago’s Outstanding Cabaret Entertainer as well as several other honors and accolades.

Her charm and versatility as a singer and comedian have attracted a wide and loyal following in Chicago and beyond. She has performed on cruise ships, at awards shows, for dozens of AIDS and LGBT fundraisers, and in numerous concert and cabaret venues from the Park West to Cabaret Metro, and from Gentry to Hotel Allegro.

Honey will perform at Gene & Georgetti on June 27. Reservations are required, reserve online or by calling 312-527-3718.
