Smokey Bones has named Jason Moore its new Director of Operations Midwest including Fort Wayne Moore’s primary responsibilities will be overseeing Smokey Bones’ ghost kitchen in Chicago, located at 831 N Sedgwick Street, and the Rockford, Ill., restaurant, located at 6690 E State Street. Jason will also support the Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Southern Illinois restaurants.
Smokey Bones CEO James O’Reilly says, “We are excited to welcome Jason to the team as we continue to move the Midwest markets forward to support new growth.”
Moore began his career with Smokey Bones in 2004 working in the Atlanta-area market. He later relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, and rose from culinary manager to general manager for Smokey Bones. In 2009 Moore joined Red Lobster, where he eventually was promoted to Director of Operations for the Kansas City market. He returns to Smokey Bones after spending the last seven years as a successful multi-unit operator.

Moore is the proud father of an adult daughter and lives in Gardner, Kan., with his wife and two dogs. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching Auburn football and the Kansas City Chiefs, and traveling.
