Ruby Tuesday announced that it will offer four hours of paid leave to support hourly restaurant employees.

“We want to support our dedicated Ruby Tuesday hourly restaurant employees who choose to safeguard themselves by taking the time to get the COVID-19 vaccination,” says Shawn Lederman, Chief Executive Officer for Ruby Tuesday. “We want our frontline workers to know we are always here for them.  We understand personal challenges like childcare, transportation, or care for another family member may prevent them from having the personal time to get the vaccine. We are all in this together and we want to make it easier for our hard-working hourly restaurant employees who choose to get the vaccine to protect themselves against the coronavirus.”

In the wake of the pandemic, Ruby Tuesday wants to support its essential restaurant employees by compensating them for the time they need to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Ruby Tuesday remains committed to providing its guests with an exceptional, affordable and friendly casual dining experience, while also protecting the health and safety of its diners and employees.

Ruby Tuesday continues to adhere to its high cleaning standards and sanitation procedures, as well as following the guidance of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local regulatory agencies.
