SocialEats Food Hall announced its new operations partnering with Cloudkitchens in Anaheim at 1560 S Lewis St, Anaheim, CA 92805 beginning January 2021.  The delivery-only outpost introduces SocialEats and its 4 original restaurant concepts, Pop!s Burgers & Shakes, Azule Taqueria, Supertoro and Street Noods – owned by K2 Restaurants – as the first SocialEats operation in Orange County.  This is the third SocialEats offering in Southern California; the flagship food hall which debuted in 2018 is located at 1315 Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, the second OntheGo outpost in Hollywood at 1542 N Cahuenga Blvd opened October 2020.

“We’ve been fortunate to have the ability to reimagine SocialEats as we continue to overcome the challenges in the food industry this year,” says John Kolaski, Owner of K2 Restaurants.

“The decision to pivot to a delivery-only outpost and partner with Cloudkitchens marks a great milestone in our expansion strategy. We’re now in a position to grow our in-house SocialEats Good Eats, Delivered free local delivery program beyond Los Angeles County and reach our customers throughout Southern California via third party delivery apps as well.”

In addition to the Cloudkitchens partnership, K2 Restaurants plans to open its first SocialEats commercial interior operations in Mid-Wilshire along the Miracle Mile in 2021.  The construction plans to convert street level office space into an outpost servicing tenants and nearby neighborhoods with take-out, delivery and dine-in options; additional SocialEats office locations expected to arrive throughout Southern California in 2021.

SocialEats also announces the arrival of its newest restaurant, “Hollywood Crab Shack” available at all locations, set to open January 2021. The boiling crab concept offers on-the-go bagged main seafood options by the ½ pound including crab (Dungeness, King, Stone, Blue), shrimp, crawfish, clams, mussels and lobster – available mild, medium and spicy, along with sides by the ½ pound like red potatoes, andouille sausage, crispy calamari, corn, crusty bread, white rice and fries.

“This year has presented us with the need to focus on a return to comfort food and introduce restaurants that offer robust meal options.  Hollywood Crab Shack is our answer to the current state of the food industry, and we’re excited to ring in the new year with our first boiling crab concept in all of our SocialEats locations.”
