Reset the Table and The Food Group are launching a new roundtable series that addresses the current inequalities within the foodservice industry and what it will take to create sustainable change. The first virtual roundtable will focus on Diversity and Inclusion and will go live on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 2:00PM EDT. To register for the roundtable, click here.

The Diversity and Inclusion roundtable will join:

Selassie Atadika, Chef/Owner of Midunu and Policy Change Advocate

Kamillah Knight, Co-founder of Éclat Culture LLC

Michelle Robinson, Director, Early Talent and Frontline for Sodexo

The new digital series will bring together everyone—from leading chefs to decision-makers at the nation’s largest restaurant chains to manufacturers and everyone in between—to openly discuss the industry’s biggest challenges and what it will take to resolve them. Each roundtable will highlight a specific and timely issue like Diversity & Inclusion, Gender Equality, Community Support and more. These discussions will be live (and will also live) on the Reset the Table website.

“We want to shine a light on the women and men striving to level the playing field and give otherwise unheard voices a chance to speak up,” said Pam Bevilacque, SVP Client Service and Strategy, The Food Group. “We have asked leaders in the foodservice industry to share their personal experiences and insights so that we can start to understand what changes need to be made and take the necessary steps to evolve the industry forward.”

The mission of the new Reset the Table Roundtable is to bring together a network of strong industry leaders to inspire measurable actions toward the progression of equality, representation and leadership within the foodservice profession.

As a creative food and beverage marketing agency, The Food Group is deeply ingrained in the foodservice industry.
