Buffalo Wild Wings Introduces Stein Hoisting Competition for Oktoberfest

Buffalo Wild Wings is going all-in on Oktoberfest as sports bars across the country hold their very own Stein Hoisting Competition for a chance to win a trip to Munich, Germany. The traditional Bavarian strength and endurance contest involves competitors holding a full, one-liter stein in front of their bodies with a straight arm, parallel to the ground for as long as possible without spilling liquid.

Participating sports bars nationwide will kick off the competition on October 4 around 7:30 p.m. ET. Aside from the pride of outlasting other opponents in the competition, winners at each sports bar will be entered into the grand-prize sweepstake drawing for the Munich trip. First-place prizes will also be awarded.

October 4 isn’t the end of Oktoberfest at Buffalo Wild Wings, and guests are encouraged to continue celebrating all month long with the savory Everything Pretzel Knots, full, rich bodied Weihenstephaner Festbier and seasonal favorite, Sam Adams Octoberfest.
