With more families relying on food donations than ever before, Hooters and Hoots restaurants are inviting customers to round up their check or make a donation of their choice to help fight hunger. The Round Up program at the 11 Tampa Bay area Hooters and Hoots St. Pete will benefit Metropolitan Ministries and the 12 Chicagoland Hooters and three Hoots locations will support Greater Chicago Food Depository.
“It’s efforts like the Hooters’ Round Up Your Check that show how much our community and Hooters and Hoots Restaurants care about Tampa Bay families,” says Tim Marks, Metropolitan Ministries president and CEO. “We’ve seen thousands of families asking for help in the wake of COVID-19, but we’ve been able to answer the call thanks to your support. Let’s keep spreading hope and changing lives together.”

In addition to the Round Up program, Hooters Management Corporation has partnered with Metropolitan Ministries and Greater Chicago Food Depository with Thanksgiving turkey distributions, food donations and volunteers. “Now more than ever, our local food banks need our support. We wanted to get involved with the Round Up program to help raise funds and fight hunger in our community,” said Denise Williams, Hooters Management Corporation Chief Marketing Officer.
