For more than 200 years, Buffalo Trace Distillery has crafted and aged award-winning spirits, including its ever-popular bourbon. That’s why the largest sports bar brand in the United States, Buffalo Wild Wings, is releasing a limited amount of hand-picked Single Barrel Select Bourbon at sports bars across Florida, Georgia, Colorado, Nevada and California.

“Buffalo Trace Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley personally selected each barrel from the Single Barrel Select series,” says David McPhillips, Director of Beverage Strategy & Innovation for Buffalo Wild Wings. “This bourbon is perfect for fans to drink while watching the game. And it can be enjoyed on an ice block, neat or mixed into an Old Fashioned or one of our classic cocktails.”

The Single Barrel Select Bourbon includes notes of caramel, dark fruit and a hint of black cherry, with an oaky, sweet flavor and a smooth finish. The bourbon’s rich and smoky flavors also complement barbecue-based wing sauces and the new brisket platform, which features savory entrees such as the Smoked Brisket Burger and Smoked Brisket Sandwich.

The minimum of eight-year aged bourbon is the latest quality option to join the bar assortment of craft beer and spirits at Buffalo Wild Wings. And the addition of Buffalo Trace continues the sports bar brand’s trend of adding unique twists to its classic cocktail program with limited-release Single Barrel Select Bourbon.

“By including Single Barrel Select Bourbon in our beverage program, we’re holding ourselves to a high standard as a sports bar,” McPhillips says. “We’re showing guests that we’re trying to be a bit different and they can expect us to keep innovating across our menu.”

Buffalo Trace Single Barrel Select will be available as long as supplies last at Buffalo Wild Wings sports bars in Florida, Georgia, Colorado, Nevada and California.
