VEDGEco, the online purveyor of plant-based bulk foods, will launch a new online store serving the continental United States on August 1.  Available at vedgeco.com, the service will offer restaurants, hotels, caterers and consumers wholesale prices on unique products from popular plant-based food brands, including All Vegetarian, Alpha Foods, Beyond Meat, Daiya, Field Roast, Follow Your Heart, Gardein, Impossible, JUST, Lightlife, MorningStar Farms, Plant Ranch and Tofurky. The online store will ship orders of bulk plant-based dairy products and proteins like plant-based bacon, eggs, cheese-style shreds, burgers, sausages, drumsticks, chicken nuggets, tempeh, and more.

VEDGEco, originally founded in Kailua, Hawaii in 2019, has been serving Hawaii for the past year.  The immediate high demand for bulk plant-based foods in Hawaii made founder brothers Trevor and Tyler Hitch realize that the mainland United States was underserved. To launch nationwide, VEDGEco will use strategically located shipping facilities on the East Coast and the West Coast, making it possible to ship orders to customers nationwide within 1-2 business days. Orders will be delivered frozen and packed with environmentally-friendly, foam-free insulation and dry ice.
