It’s been more than a month since live sports left our everyday lives, and people have found creative ways to fill that void. Professional athletes, toddlers and spunky grandmas have turned kitchens into courts and living rooms into arenas.
Buffalo Wild Wings took to social media to compile the very best at-home sports highlights from across the internet; creating the #SportsLiveOn campaign. Each week, Buffalo Wild Wings introduces a new at-home sports challenge that anyone can participate in. Fans are encouraged to share video of their at-home sports feats on social with #SportsLiveOn and top plays are highlighted by Buffalo Wild Wings each week.
Buffalo Wild Wings is taking this campaign one step further and bringing live competition back to the sports world. Tomorrow, April 10, at 8 p.m. ET, Buffalo Wild Wings will launch its Twitch channel with the iconic voice of NBA Jam, Tim Kitzrow, calling an epic game of H-O-R-S-E between two internet sensations: Thomas “Snacks” Lee and Maxisnicee. The competition will take place indoors from “Snacks” and Maxisnicee’s respective homes with a ball of socks and a laundry basket, putting a spotlight on the more creative ways to make sure Sports Live On – LIVE.
“Snacks” rose to national notoriety when he went from Jackson State team manager to seeing game action and knocking down a long-range three.
After his college basketball career came to an abrupt end due to an MCL injury, Maxisnicee took to Instagram in December 2018, with his first viral NBA player impersonation. Since then, he’s compiled more than 950,000 followers and earned recognition from some of the league’s top stars and personalities.
