Kanki announced the date for its fifth annual $1 Ramen Day, “Bowl For A Buck,” benefitting Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina (PCANC) on April 1, 2020, the start of Child Abuse Prevention Month. This special event will take place at Torii Noodle Bar in Crabtree Valley Mall located at 4325 Gleenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27612.

Torii is above Kanki on the upper level, positioned between P.F. Chang’s and The North Face. This year’s event is especially exciting as two different ramens will be offered, as well as a rice bowl.

This year, Torii Noodle Bar is excited to offer full-sized Tonkotsu Ramen, Wonton-Men Ramen, and a Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl, as well as vegetarian options. Each bowl will be $1, with the opportunity for additional donations at the door and in the restaurant. Torii suggests arriving early as this day is anticipated by diners all year long. There will be sodas and waters available for purchase, donated by Pepsi. All proceeds for “Bowl For A Buck” will be donated to PCANC. Torii sold approximately 800 bowls last year and their goal this year is to reach 1000.
