On the heels of a wildly successful soft opening, Las Vegas’ ultimate sports restaurant, Wolfgang Puck Players Locker, is thrilled to announce that it has officially opened its doors to the public at Downtown Summerlin in Las Vegas.
Created by world-renowned chef Wolfgang Puck and several members of the Vegas Golden Knights, including Alex Tuch, William Karlsson, Deryk Engelland, Shea Theodore and Reilly Smith, the restaurant has become an instant favorite among Las Vegas locals, delighting Summerlin residents, Knights fans and travelers with its expansive menu featuring traditional sports fare with an elevated twist.
Inspired by the beloved hockey players themselves, the menu at Wolfgang Puck Players Locker allows guests to eat like their favorite Knights with a variety of never-before-seen signature dishes, including Tuch’s Reuben Sandwich—a personal favorite of the star forward featuring pastrami smothered in sauerkraut and swiss cheese on marbled rye. Other standouts at the restaurant include Karlsson’s Vegan Burger featuring a “Beyond Meat” vegan patty, vegan cheese and all the fixings; Reilly’s Cheese Curds, a mouth-watering spin on poutine featuring house-made sauce; Deryk’s Fish & Chips with tartar sauce and malt vinegar; and Shea’s Gooey Deluxe featuring a salted caramel chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream.
Guests looking to savor crave-worthy staples can choose from selections such as the Smoked Salmon Pizza with caviar and dill crème fraiche; Truffle Potato Chips with bleu cheese fondue and chives; Seared Filet Mignon ‘Steak Frites’ with bourbon-mustard sauce and crispy French fries and more.
Beckoning to revelers from the moment they walk by, the restaurant’s dazzling, floor-to-ceiling display of more than 100 custom glass lockers will feature an impressive selection of high-end spirits, some of which have been handpicked by Wolfgang Puck, the five players and other big-name celebrities, including Shaquille O’Neal, Wayne Gretzky and Vegas Golden Knights owner, Bill Foley—each of whom has a dedicated locker.
The innovative new beverage program will also feature classic staples and curated cocktail selections, including Tuch’s Barrel-Aged Manhattan with Tuch’s blend of rye and sweet vermouth; the Reilly Smith Paloma with Lunazul, grapefruit juice and black sea salt; the Theodore Mule with Stolichnaya vodka, lime and ginger beer; the Engelland Sour with Jim Beam, lemon and bitters and Karlsson’s Coffee, a $6 shot with Jameson, coffee and cream.
Wolfgang Puck Players Locker was designed for the avid sports fan and features panoramic, flat-screen TVs thoughtfully integrated throughout the space for maximum viewing pleasure. Guests can choose from a variety of vantage points, including an expansive bar area and two outdoor patios, one of which is pet friendly.
The private dining room, aptly named “The Players Lounge,” will serve not only as a private events space available for special gatherings and private bookings, but also as the official space for the Knights when they dine at the restaurant.
