Glory Days Grill, a sports-themed casual dining family restaurant chain with corporate and franchised restaurants in Florida, Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and West Virginia, opened its first restaurant in Georgia in December 2019. The Macon, Georgia restaurant is the company’s 38th location on the east coast, it’s 14th for franchisee partner Play Ball FL, LLC and its first location in Georgia. The opening occurs just weeks after Play Ball FL LLC opened their 13th Florida restaurant in Wesley Chapel, FL.

The Macon restaurant features 7,000 square feet of dining and bar space including a semi-private dining room for banquets, meetings, and team parties. The restaurant also features a turf cornhole court outside for guests to enjoy during their visit. The Wesley Chapel restaurant features 6,000 square feet of dining and bar space including outdoor seating for nearly 50 guests and a turf cornhole court.

In addition to these landmark openings, Glory Days Grill achieved a major milestone in mid-December exceeding $100 million in system-wide annual sales for 2019. This accomplishment is the result of additional corporate grills coupled with the explosive franchise growth. In the past five years, Glory Days Grill has expanded with franchise partners into Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina with more on the horizon. According to the most recent Franchise Times magazine which lists the top 500 franchises in the United States, Glory Days Grill is now the 5th largest sports-themed casual dining concept and it continues to grow. The Franchise Times annual ranking of the 500 largest franchise systems in the country is determined by global system-wide sales based on the previous year’s performance. Glory Days Grill has plans to open new franchise units on the east coast in 2020, beginning in Raleigh, NC where a recent 8-unit development agreement has been signed.
