Sbe’s Umami Burger will celebrate its commitment to hormone-free, antibiotic-free, and a continued offering of “meat-free” burgers through their partnership with Impossible Meats by giving away free burgers and fries at all U.S. Umami Burger locations on Friday, November 15, 2019 as part of their “Free The Burger” celebration.

The customer can choose any burger from the menu, along with their choice of fries.

Impossible Foods is the company behind the groundbreaking vegan burger patty which originally debuted in Umami doors, and recently debuted a brand-new burger recipe at the global food chain partner earlier this year. This version, an added addition to the extensive Impossible menu offerings at Umami, is noted to taste more “beefy,” and contains less saturated fat and fewer calories.

Nate Appleman, Chief Operating Officer of sbe’s Umami Burger, says: “We want our customers to meet, greet, and eat Umami Burger’s real yummy, real beef, and plant-based Impossible creations in-store on November 15. Any Umami Burger, any way you want it.”

Umami will also launch a social contest as part of the celebration. Everyone who shares a photo of their “Free The Burger” meal on Instagram and tags @UmamiBurger using the hashtag #UrYummy on November 15 will be entered to win free burgers for a year (one burger a week for 12 months).

Umami Burger has over 27 locations globally including in California, New York, Illinois, Nevada, Japan, Bahamas and Mexico with additional locations planned around the world.

Their tagline of ‘Juicy, Crunchy, Sweet, or Spicy—We’ve Got A Burger For That.’ will continue to expand as they introduce the new menu as of November 2019.
