Snooze an A.M. Eatery is declaring its commitment to shaking up your expectations of the first meal of the day with the official launch of its new campaign, Breakfast But Different. A breakfast and brunch eatery focused on revitalizing breakfast culture, Snooze currently has 39 locations and can be found in Arizona, California, Colorado, North Carolina and Texas, with additional openings on the horizon. As Snooze continues to grow, Breakfast But Different firmly establishes how they remain steadfast in their responsibility to do more than serve up breakfast as usual.

As part of the launch, Snooze is also debuting a new website featuring updated branding and photography. As a major cornerstone of the brand, Snooze also released its first annual report, the Snooze Change Makers Report, which comprehensively details the restaurant group’s sustainability and community efforts through measurable changes in what is considered one of the most wasteful industries. All of Breakfast But Different comes to life in the Snooze manifesto video, vibrantly sharing how Snooze creates an environment of positivity with all that they do.

“Snooze has always been known for making delicious food, welcoming our guests like family, and taking noticeable action to treat the planet and community with the respect and appreciation it deserves,” says David Birzon, CEO of Snooze. “While we’ve been doing this since day one, today we’re shining a bright light on it and promising that whether we have one Snooze or 100 Snoozes, we’ll always do it differently.”

Here are a few examples of how Snooze stands out:

The Snooze Twist: Snooze reimagines the breakfast routine with a menu of playful and creative twists, while using ingredients that are responsibly sourced meeting our Snooze Approved standards. Snoozers don’t wake up to serve breakfast as usual, so variety and creativity are a priority, with an endless list of morning cocktails (Bacon Bourbon, anyone?), flights of pancakes and mix ’n’ match eggs Benedict. Today all of the brand’s ingredients have to meet the company’s “Snooze Approved,” meaning they have passed a rigorous set of standards including ethical farming practices, as well as vetting the sustainable standards of the partner companies.

Snooze Neighbors are Family: Snooze doesn’t just open in a community—it opens with the community. When Snooze opens a new restaurant, it partners with three local non-profit organizations and hosts a pre-opening benefit breakfast, inviting locals to donate to one of the organizations. From there, Snooze gives back one percent of all sales to local charities. In 2018, Snooze donated over $800,000 to local and national charities, and is on track to contribute over $1 million in 2019 alone. National food holidays are also less of an ‘Instagrammable’ moment than they are an opportunity for Snooze to support the community: for example, on National Pancake Day (March 5), Snooze contributes all pancake sales to local community gardens, that can then be invested in new equipment, seeds, additional space and more.

Snooze is the New Green: Snooze takes pride in being an industry leader in sustainability, and works to do the responsible thing for people and the planet. To ensure this, all 2,100+ employees must complete a Snooze Sustainability 101 class. With an educated and dedicated team, Snooze can achieve great things, such as diverting over 90 percent of waste from landfills where facilities exist (and adding biodigesters where facilities don’t exist), and annually planting one tree per employee at Godoy’s Coffee Roasters’ farm in Guatemala, which is Snooze’s long-term coffee partner.
