CBRE announced that Supertoro and HiroNori Craft Ramen have signed leases at Brick Works, a retail collective in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. Zachary Card, Erik Krasney and Jamie Rogers of CBRE represented the landlord, Champion Real Estate Company, in the lease agreement. Located in the heart of Echo Park at 1485-1501 W. Sunset Boulevard, Brick Works is a new adaptive reuse development, comprised of several transformed mid-century buildings with more than 15,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.

Supertoro, an original Japanese-inspired bento box concept by K2 Restaurants, will be serving hand rolls, cut rolls, signature crispy rice and more in a build your own bento box format. This is the first location on Los Angeles’ Eastside for K2 Restaurants. K2 Restaurants partners with such culinary greats like David Chang, Michael and Bryan Voltaggio, and Graham Elliot, in addition to incubating and operating original concepts.

Brick Works will be the 7th location for HiroNori Craft Ramen, founded in 2017 by Hiro Igarashi and Nori Akasaka. The duo moved from Japan “to serve authentic ramen with excellent service,” making their own noodles, stock and sauces. The restaurant notably was one of five Orange County establishments awarded the Bib Gourmand distinction in the 2019 MICHELIN Guide California. Brick Works is situated approximately two miles north of Downtown Los Angeles and about four miles southeast of Hollywood.

The 1920s compound features exposed brick and unique bow truss ceilings. The property is also minutes from popular Los Angeles social hubs such as Dodger Stadium and Echo Park Lake.

Brick Works’ centralized location allows for easy access from Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood and many other surrounding neighborhoods. This specific stretch of Echo Park continues to evolve with the expansion of vegan favorite Monty’s Good Burger; bar and restaurant trio Lowboy, Adamae & Bar Flores; and petit cafe Konbi, recently awarded Bon Appétit’s Restaurant of the Year.
