By popular demand, a new level of sports bar style is coming to the trendy Las Olas Blvd in Fort Lauderdale, Florida—Bo’s Pub, owned by PDKN Restaurant Group, of which former Miami Dolphins player Kim Bokamper is a partner. PDKN Restaurant Group also owns and operates Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill, with locations in Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, Miramar, Naples and Estero; as well as Bo’s Beach, a casual, two-story restaurant and bar located on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Situated on the first floor of PDKN’s The Balcony restaurant, Bo’s Pub—opening August 9—will offer a menu of American favorites.

Bo’s Pub will feature new décor, including gas lamps, pub signs, a giant LED screen that is nearly 12 feet wide by 5 feet high (the largest on Las Olas) and more TVs, all with a focus on sports. The second-floor open-air rooftop and balcony will continue to feature The Balcony’s chic décor.

Led by Executive Chef Simon Porter, Bo’s Pub will feature Bo’s Pub Bites including Shishito Peppers with soy and ginger ($10), Reuben Eggrolls with Russian sauce ($12), Tuna Avocado Tostada with smashed avocado, tomato, red onion, chili and cilantro mayonnaise ($14) and Bo’s Buffalo Wings with cucumber and blue cheese ($12). Ale & Onion with beef & ale broth and provolone cheese croutons ($7) is a delicious soup to start the meal.  Salad highlights include Southern Caprese with fried green tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella and balsamic ($13); and Watermelon & Wild Berry with arugula, mixed leaf frisée, goat cheese, toasted almonds and strawberry vinaigrette ($15).

Burgers & Hand Helds—all served with fries or salad—include Philly Cheese Steak with sweet peppers, sautéed onions and cheddar cheese cause ($16); The Beyond Burger, a plant-based vegan burger with mashed avocado, lettuce and tomato ($16); and Short Rib Tacos with savory cabbage, braised short rib, crispy shallots and horseradish aioli ($14).

Main Plate favorites include Bangers ‘n’ Mash with mashed potato, Brussels sprouts and onion gravy ($17); Shepherd’s Pie with beef & vegetable stew topped with mashed potatoes ($17); Grilled Salmon with side salad and herb roasted fingerling potatoes ($25); and NY Strip (14oz.) served with port wine blue cheese or Celtic whiskey peppercorn sauce ($36). Side dishes include Parmesan Truffle Fries with crispy fries tossed in truffle parmesan blend ($8) and much more.

 

Bo’s Pub Sweet Treats are the perfect end to any meal. Beignets with Bailey’s chocolate sauce ($8) and Crème Brûlée Cheesecake with candied pecans ($8) are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Bo’s Pub will also feature weekday lunch specials for $9.99 from 11:30 a.m.–3 p.m. Happy Hour will take place Monday–Friday, 4–7 p.m. and feature 50% off all drinks and select $7 pub bites. Bucket specials (5 for $15 domestic and 5 for $20 imports) will be available all day, every day.   

Select Pub Bites, available for $7 during Happy Hour, include Bo’s Buffalo Wings with cucumber and blue cheese; Bo’s Pub Sliders with beer cheese, pickled serranos, and caramelized onions; Meatballs with tomato sauce and shaved parmesan; Sriracha Onion Rings with blue cheese and ranch dip; Southern Fried Chicken Fillets with Cajun crust, maple mayonnaise and barbecue sauce; Mac n’ Cheese Balls with parma rosa sauce; Hummus with crisp bread; and more.

In addition, Bo’s Pub will offer a brunch menu available Saturdays from 11:30 a.m.–3 p.m. and Sundays from 10:30 a.m.–3 p.m. Guests can enjoy Coconut Crusted French Toast with pineapple compote and maple syrup ($14); Fried Green Tomato Benedict with Lyonnaise potatoes, fresh fruit, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce ($16); Short Rib Hash with Lyonnaise potato hash, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce ($17); and Avocado Toast on toasted ciabatta topped with eggs any style and served with a side salad ($13). The restaurant will also offer bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s ($15).

Guests will be able to order and enjoy the Bo’s Pub specials and menu items both downstairs at Bo’s Pub and upstairs at The Balcony.

The operating hours of Bo’s Pub will be Monday–Thursday 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.; Friday and Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.; and Sunday 10:30 a.m. to 12 a.m.
