Bokamper’s, The Balcony Offering May Special for Teachers, Nurses, Police, and EMS Professionals

Honoring those who serve the community is a priority for PDKN Restaurant Group, and in May, PDKN’s Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill locations and The Balcony will offer 20 percent off food for teachers, nurses, police and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professionals. Various professions will receive the discount during specified weeks.

Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill has five locations: Fort Lauderdale, Miramar, Plantation, Naples and Estero. The Balcony, a lively two-story restaurant offering American favorites with a twist, is located on Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas Boulevard.

“Whether they are teaching our kids or adults, saving lives, or keeping us safe, those who serve our community every day play vital roles in making all of our lives better,” says Kim Bokamper, co-founder of PDKN Restaurant Group and former Miami Dolphins player. “At PDKN Restaurant Group, we are pleased to show our appreciation for these individuals who are making a difference with this May special.”

During the following designated weeks in May, respective professionals will receive 20 percent off food at all Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill locations and The Balcony. They must show valid professional ID. The discount does not include daily specials or happy hour. Restrictions apply.

Teacher Appreciation/Nurses’ Week (Monday, May 6–Friday, May 10): Must show valid teacher/nurse ID to receive discount May 6–10.
Police Week (Monday, May 13–Friday, May 17): Must show valid police ID to receive discount May 13–17.
EMS Week (Monday, May 20–Friday, May 24): Must show valid EMS ID to receive discount May 20–24.

In honor of Memorial Day, throughout the month at all Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill locations (Fort Lauderdale, Miramar, Plantation, Naples, and Estero), guests can donate $1 to receive a message card that will be displayed in-store all month long. For a $5 donation, guests will buy a Veteran a beer, receive a message card to be displayed in-store all month long and receive a Bokamper’s Memorial Day koozie. As a result of the $5 donations, Veterans will be served one free 16 oz. beer on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27. Identification is required. Bud Light or Budweiser draft only.

Also, Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill will be hosting its 5th annual Memorial Day Remembrance Heroes Tribute at their Fort Lauderdale location on Monday, May 27 from 5:30–7 p.m. The event will include:
