Elmer’s Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner opened its 26th location on Monday, April 29 . The new Elmer’s in Eugene, Oregon, resides in the former McGrath’s Fish House building located at 1036 Valley River Way which was extensively remodeled over the last few months.

It’s a great example of a successful conversion. The Eugene restaurant operates under a license granted by We Are Crackin’ LLC. to Thomason Hospitality Group. Thomason Hospitality Group, owned by longtime Grants Pass restaurateur Dave Thomason, is the largest Elmer’s Franchisee with 6 Oregon locations.

“We are so proud of Dave and Doneta and wish them lots of success with the new Elmer’s in Eugene. They have been excellent Elmer’s franchisees for more than 15 years,” says Jerry Scott, president/CEO of Elmer’s Restaurants, Inc. In addition to Eugene, Elmer’s has opened five restaurants since 2016. Included are two conversions of the beloved threedaypart Elmer’s concept (Eugene and East Portland), as well as three brand new Egg N’ Joe Restaurants near Phoenix, AZ. Egg N’ Joe offers the best of Elmer’s for breakfast and lunch, open daily from 6:30am-2:30pm.

“Elmer’s and Egg N’ Joe are continuing to grow throughout the West. We are constantly speaking with potential franchisees,” adds Scott. “There are plans for new restaurants in the Arizona and Idaho markets as well as expansion beyond our current base.”

The Elmer’s and Egg N’ Joe menus feature an emphasis on fresh, quality, premium ingredients and traditional flavors. An example of the commitment to quality, 100% real Northwest Dungeness Crab is featured on the Crabacado Omelet, Dungeness Crab Benedict and Dungeness Crab BLT salad. “It’s truly the absolute best fresh crab available,” says Scott.

Additionally, the signature Northwest Lodge Blend coffee is roasted in Portland, OR, and all batters are prepared fresh inhouse. Guests favorites include the German Pancake, Looking for Sun Omelet, Bacon & Tillamook Cheddar Potato Pancakes, and Classic Mimosa.

While the food is a star in its own right, it’s the service that makes Guests smile. Elmer’s and Egg N’ Joe have earned a reputation as a local favorite in each of the communities where they reside. The success is based on a simple formula of outrageously gracious service, fresh fantastic food, and an environment that is clean like new.

“Everything we do at Elmer’s and Egg N’ Joe is done to support our three word mission statement – Delight Our Guests,” adds Scott. Each team member is hired for their personality and commitment to guest service.
