As HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern heads into its 10th year of operation, the casual dining destination is enjoying record success. In the past two years, HOBNOB has expanded beyond its flagship Midtown location, opening well-received outposts in Brookhaven and Dunwoody, going from 25 employees to more than 180, with a fourth location at the popular Atlantic Station mixed-use developed slated to open this fall. The company’s revenue has grown rapidly during that period, growing from $1.5 million in 2016 to a projected $8.5 million this year.

For CEO Sean Yeremyan, who co-owns HOBNOB with his wife Becky, that rapid growth boils down to the enduring draw of an inviting neighborhood hangout with a top-notch food and drink menu and exemplary customer service.

“Over the last nine years, we’ve developed a reputation as a dependable spot for well-executed tavern fare with Southern flair, and one of the largest bourbon selections in the Southeast,” Yeremyan says. “But more than our great food and drinks, what we’re selling is a comfortable, welcoming neighborhood joint with friendly and fantastic service. To deliver that consistently, day in and day out for nine years, to me is the heart of HOBNOB’s appeal.”

Since opening its doors in 2010, HOBNOB’s original Midtown location at the corner of Piedmont Avenue and Monroe Drive has become a community fixture, thriving in a competitive market thanks to its expertly executed menu and first-class hospitality. With the addition of its Town Brookhaven location, which opened in the summer of 2017 and a Perimeter location that opened in December of 2018, HOBNOB has blossomed into an increasingly popular go-to spot for diners across the metro-Atlanta area.

And as the concept expands to encompass a fourth location (and perhaps beyond), Yeremyan is confident that its reputation—and success—will continue to grow. “We’re looking forward to celebrating many more anniversaries in Midtown and all of our locations,” he says. “As long as we keep serving a dependably top-notch experience, we’ll continue building relationships with guests throughout Atlanta for many years to come.”
