With a goal of kicking off the New Year right, Dogfish Head founder and CEO Sam Calagione went on a quest known as JanuQuenchy. Calagione invited Dogfish enthusiasts and coworkers to join him by pledging to only drink the low-calorie SeaQuench Ale for 31 days while eating sensibly and doing something active.

To commemorate the finale of JanuQuenchy 2019, Dogfish Head partnered with New Balance, a fitness apparel company, to create a cobranded athletic-style trucker hat and a breathable, mesh-lined jacket with a SeaQuench Ale focus.  The hat features SeaQuench ingredients dye sublimated on one panel, paired with the classic Dogfish Head logo on the opposite and is crafted with a performance woven front material and a wicking internal sweatband.  Both pieces are now available for purchase on dogfish.com!

“We’re excited about releasing this new jacket and hat to fans of good beer and believe they’ll pair as well together as we think an active lifestyle pairs with a SeaQuench Ale,” says Calagione.  “You can be sure I’ll be rockin’ my NB gear while doing one of my favorite outdoor activities, paddling my SUP on the waters of Coastal Delaware.”

In addition to online sales, Dogfish Head will host a “pop-up shop” this weekend (February 1 & 2) at their booth at the BeerAdvocate Extreme Beer Fest in Boston, MA. Festival attendees can stop by the booth, enjoy a sample of SeaQuench Ale and purchase the hat and jacket.

SeaQuench Ale (4.9% ABV) is objectively the most thirst-quenching beer ever made at Dogfish Head and it’s only 140 calories, 9g carbs, 2g protein and zero fat. Brewed with lime juice, sea salt and black limes, it’s the best selling beer in the fastest growing craft beer style (sours) in America thanks to its super flavorful and approachable profile.
