Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, along with Michelin lauded Executive Chef Nick Dostal and Restaurant Director Adam Stark, is proud to announce the debut menu and official opening of Terrace 16.

The cohesive menu echoes the Chicago restaurant’s unification and balance of its exterior and interior spaces, utilizing finely sourced product and ingredients grown sixteen stories above the city in Dostal’s outdoor garden. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and in-between, Terrace 16’s menu has something for every occasion, be it a light bite and cocktails at the bar, lunch or snacks with friends on the stunning, 200-seat outdoor patio or a full-on feast in the bustling, indoor restaurant and bar. Coupled with the welcoming hospitality cultivated by Stark and his front of house team, guests are in for a fun, unforgettable new American restaurant experience.

“I’ve always believed in allowing ingredients to shine in their own right—both in fine and everyday dining,” says Chef Dostal. “Bringing these new dishes to a wider audience is humbling. Our whole team can’t wait to share our new space, menu and service with both locals and visitors.”

Dostal’s menu spans his culinary skillset, punctuated by inspiration from Asia and Europe. Guests experience fresh, herb-forward snacks such as the Sweet Pea Garden Toast – an amusing spin on the traditional avocado variation. Intricate, homemade pastas like spicy squid ink chitarra are among promised crowd pleasers, as is the whole fried chicken, at once delicate and filling. Executive Pastry Chef Jared Bacheller ends the meal on a playful note with dishes reminiscent of family gatherings including S’mores for the Table and Mint Cookies & Cream Sandwich.

Another exciting component to Terrace 16’s reimagined space is its 20 seat bar, which lends to a vibrant, social experience. A cocktail program designed by the restaurant’s expert bartending team features craft, ingredient forward creations.

Sommelier Parag Lalit’s thoughtful selection of wines does not disappoint. The 1,200 label portfolio showcases both Old and New World varietals from around the world, many from small production producers whose boutique offerings prove difficult to find elsewhere. By the glass, coravin or by the bottle, Lalit’s program seamlessly enhances the Terrace 16 Chicago river dining experience.

Terrace 16 is now open for lunch and dinner from 12 p.m. until 10 p.m.
