A newly formed group of leading foodservice manufacturers and operators will be gathering in Chicago this year to identify the most efficient, effective ways to develop new food offerings in the foodservice industry.

The Foodservice Collaborative Innovation Best Practice Board is a group of industry leaders whose mission will be to discover, develop, and define best practices in foodservice innovation. The best practice board will come together for four full-day workshops throughout the year to share experience, data and ideas, tapping into the knowledge and insight of the most influential leaders in innovation from top restaurant brands and leading food, equipment and packaging manufacturers.

The outcome will be tools, processes, and best practice guidelines for building a more effective approach to innovation. The Board’s goal is to be able to feed bigger ideas into the innovation pipeline, improve speed to market, drive traffic and ultimately fuel profitable growth, while ensuring that consumers are

100% satisfied with their food experience. Resources and expertise will also be provided by subject matter experts: Kinetic12 and CSSI Culinary & Marketing in collaboration with the Research Chefs Association and Datassential.

“The ultimate goal of the Board is to accelerate the time required for innovation and help drive sales with bigger menu ideas and consumer solutions,” says Tim Hand, Partner at Kinetic12 Consulting. “During these sessions, participating foodservice manufacturers will collaboratively develop industry best practices with leading chains to create tangible outputs for their organizations.”

The board will hold its first meeting on June 26, 2018. Manufacturers who are interested in participating are encouraged to contact Tim Hand at 847-857-8330 or via email at tim@kinectic12.com
