Enjoy the best any season has to offer with celebrity favorite MAMO Restaurant’s incredible menu curated by new Executive Chef Salvatore Marcello. Originally from Naples, Italy, Salvatore was born into a family of cooks and bakers, igniting his passion for food at an early age. Since leaving home at the age of 13 to attend the Scuola Alberghiera in Formia, Lazio, Salvatore has experienced an illustrious career in some of Europe’s foremost kitchens; most recently as the Executive Chef at il Vero at the Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva. Once Salvatore brought his culinary genius to NYC, people took notice and he began cooking private dinners and learning from New York’s best-known restauranteurs while looking for his perfect fit. It was upon meeting Mike Mammoliti and the MAMO team that he realized he had found his New York home, and a place to grow further and shine.

MAMO’s new menu features an array of delectable dishes prepared with only the freshest ingredients. Appetizers include the sumptuous Come a capri (heirloom tomatoes, burrata, basil), Melanzane alla parmigiana (eggplants alla parmigiana), Pesce crudo del giorno con agrumi e olive (sliced crudo fish of the day with citrus and olives), Insalata di polpo (octopus, cannellini beans, olives, tomatoes, lemon and pickled cherry peppers), Fiori di zucca ripireni e fritti (stuffed zucchini flowers with tomato and mustard sauce), Carpaccio di manzo, verdure, pesche e pecorino (sliced raw beef tenderloin, marinated vegetables, peaches and pecorino), and Insalata mista, asparagi, barbabietole con tartufo (mixed greens, asparagus, baby beets and truffles).

Entrees include Linguine alle verdure di stagione, pomodorini alla trapanese (linguine with seasonal vegetables and cherry tomatoes trapani style), capelli d’angelo, gamberi e pistacchi (angel hair pasta with shrimp and pistachios), rigatoni all’amatriciana (rigatoni with crispy bacon, tomato sauce, and pecorino), Tagliata di manzo, patate saltate e olio alle erbe (12oz New York Strip Steak with sautéed potatoes and herbs oil), Petto di pollo arrosto con verdure alla griglia (roasted chicken breast with grilled vegetables, balsamic and rosemary sauce), Risotto cacio, pepe e limone con olio e basilico (cheese and pepper risotto with lemon, olive oil, and basil), and Orata arrosto con caponata siciliana (roasted sea bass with Sicilian eggplant caponata), Scaloppine di vitello al limone con patate, asparagi e fiori de zucca (lemon veal scaloppini with potatoes, asparagus, and zucchini flower), Merluzzo al forno, insalata di pomodori e fagiolini alla puttanesca (baked puttanesca-style cod with heirloom tomatoes and french beans), and Salmone con zucchini, fregola sarda e limone (roasted salmon, zucchini, Sardinian fregola and lemon).

A $48 3-course prix fixe dinner menu is offered Sunday through Monday 5:30pm–11 pm.

For lunch or dinner, the restaurant offers its classic selection of pizzas including the always popular Margherita (tomato, cantal cheese, basil), the Milana (tomato, cantal cheese, cherry tomatoes, basil, burrata), Parma (tomato, cantal cheese, parma prosciutto), and the Focaccia al tartufo (parmesan, cantal cheese, fresh truffle).

Side dishes and lighter fare include the flavorful Caponata di melanzane siciliana (sicilian eggplant caponata), Patate al forno con rosmarino (roasted potatoes with rosemary), Verdure alla griglia con aceto balsamico (grilled vegetables with balsamic vinegar), Patatine fritte con tartufo e parmigiano (french fries with truffle and parmesan), and Fregola sarda con zucchine, pomodori (sardinian fregola with zucchini and cherry tomatoes) bring a sense of casual fun with high class flavors.

A $28 3-course prix fixe lunch menu is offered Monday through Friday 12:00pm–3:30pm.

Run by Italian restauranteur Mike “Mamo” Mammoliti, it maintains the same authentic feel and dedication to Provençal flavors as its Antibes namesake MAMO Le Michelangelo. To complement the flavorful dishes, MAMO also boasts an impressive cocktail menu, featuring specials such as the smooth whiskey-orange bitters cocktail Lo Spione, the enchantingly refreshing yet spicy Al Pachilli, or the one-of-a-kind Martini Al Tartufo (truffle martini). MAMO’s signature Negroni and Spritz remain favorites on the cocktail menu, as does the tart yet sweet homemade Limoncello. In addition to the cocktail program, MAMO also features an extensive wine program with over 150 carefully selected French and Italian wines curated to complement the cuisine.

MAMO offers diners traditional southern Italian/French cuisine in an intimate yet elegant setting. The bi-level restaurant includes a casual lounge on the ground floor and a formal dining room upstairs. Both spaces capture the Riviera’s “sense of home” with original family photos and oversized vintage movie posters. The decor also incorporates classic New York-inspired touches such as exposed brick walls. The intimate downstairs lounge is available for private bookings, and is the perfect space for a holiday gathering or celebration.
