Scotty’s Brewhouse, an Indiana-based craft beer sport bar, known for its unique burgers, fried pickle chips and local craft beer, plans to open their first restaurant in the state of Texas in early 2018. Scotty’s will take over the 7,869 square foot former Twin Peaks restaurant located in the Central Texas Marketplace.

“We feel that Waco is an excellent first location for Scotty’s in Texas and specifically felt the Central Texas Marketplace had an important strong regional draw,” says Chris Martin, president of Scotty’s Brewhouse. “Taking over the former Twin Peaks location is an opportunity for Scotty’s to make a positive impact on the Waco community, as being an active part of our Community is one of the core values and part of what we do at every Scotty’s location.”

Scotty’s will serve lunch and dinner and seat 300 between its dining room and large outdoor patio 7 days a week opening at 11am. The restaurant will have over 40 TV’s showing national and local sporting events as well as a full-service bar with 24 draft lines featuring local craft beers.

“We work very hard to find and carry the best local craft beers,” says Mark Sontag, director of Food and Beverage at Scotty’s Brewhouse. “We are constantly rotating our taps to make sure frequent guests can always try something new and unique created by their local breweries while they watch the game.”

Scotty’s food menu includes innovative craft burgers, shareable appetizers, and unique entrees. Guest favorites like dill chips, wings and the award winning Shewman Special Burger featuring peanut butter, bacon and jalapeños are mainstays on their large menu. Scotty’s also offers a lunch menu, gluten sensitive dishes and vegetarian options.

Ahead of the opening guests can download Scotty’s Loyalty App from their smartphones. The app includes a Mobile Pay feature allowing guests to pay their check, leave a tip and sign for their check all within the App. Members also get a free entrée on their Birthday as well as other exclusive promotions throughout the year.

“We’re looking forward to bringing many positive experiences to Central Texas Marketplace, as a neighborhood restaurant, and through initiatives and local partnerships within the community,” continues Martin.

Scotty’s Brewhouse is currently scheduled to open in late January 2018 and will bring over 100 new part-time and full time Jobs to Waco, including opportunities for individuals with disabilities, a culture that Scotty’s has been nationally recognized for in previous years.
