As a brand committed to providing a club-level experience for its guests, Buffalo Wings & Rings is constantly innovating its menu to provide new flavors and experiences at its 75+ locations. This October, the brand’s efforts are directed toward breast cancer awareness with its second annual Chip in for the Cause limited time menu, available October 2 through November 5.

The Chip in for the Cause promotion will feature pink tortilla chips, spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip and a pink cocktail, the Blushing Buffalo. Buffalo Wings & Rings will donate $1.00 per order of any of these items to breast cancer awareness and research. The brand will also sell limited edition t-shirts for $10 with all proceeds benefiting the cause. When guests purchase any of the pink LTO items, they receive a pledge card that hangs in their local restaurant, highlighting who or what inspired them to show their support.

“We rallied the system last year to come together to support this worthy cause and the response was tremendous,” says Diane Matheson, vice president of marketing for Buffalo Wings & Rings. “Cancer has touched the lives of most of our staff, franchisees and guests, so it is a cause that is close to our hearts. I was diagnosed with cancer in February of this year, and now I’m even more committed to helping support the fight against cancer. We look forward to continuing this program each year and finding other ways to give back throughout the year.”

Last year, the brand raised approximately $25,000 across the system and hopes to exceed that goal this year.

“A key brand differentiator for Buffalo Wings & Rings is our ongoing commitment to menu innovation and giving back to the communities we serve, and this program is the perfect marriage of those two focuses,” says Nader Masadeh, president and CEO of Buffalo Wings & Rings. “Throughout the year, all of our franchisees host fundraisers and other events to benefit a variety of charities, and we wanted to show our support by creating an initiative that brings all of our locations together in support of a worthy cause.”
