Boston’s Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar, the casual dining concept that combines a family-friendly restaurant and sports bar under one roof, raised over $100,000 in 12 months for the brand’s non-profit, Boston’s Pizza Foundation. Committed to giving back to local communities across the nation, the Boston’s Pizza Foundation has raised more than 1.7 million dollars for countless local charities over the past 14 years. The Boston’s Pizza Foundation focuses on child-related issues in the United States, including the brand’s national charity partner, No Kid Hungry.

This year alone, the foundation has raised over $100,000 for No Kid Hungry, a national nonprofit dedicated to ending childhood hunger in America. Of the total $100,000, more than $10,000 was raised through Boston’s Kids Cards Campaign. Kids Cards, available for purchase in Boston’s restaurants in August, are redeemable for five free Kid’s Meals in exchange for a $5 donation to No Kid Hungry.

In addition to the Kids Cards Campaign, Boston’s raised money for No Kid Hungry through Boston’s Cares, a campaign to raise awareness and funds through the sale of paper hearts and heart-shaped pizzas, timed around Valentine’s Day.

“Boston’s is truly a company with heart, and we strive to continuously give back to those who need it most,” says Eric Taylor, president of Boston’s U.S. “It’s an honor to be at the forefront of a brand that places a high emphasis on philanthropy, and to see the difference our efforts have made, especially over the past year.”

In addition to campaigns such as No Kid Hungry, the foundation recently supported the JJ Watt Foundation. Throughout the month of September, Boston’s locations across the country will participate in the company’s Round-Up Campaign. This campaign allows for guests to round-up their bills when dining at Boston’s to the nearest dollar, with all proceeds benefitting the JJ Watt Foundation in support of Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

Boston’s is based in Dallas, and currently has 28 locations operating in 22 states in the U.S. The company’s sister brand, Boston Pizza, has more than 390 locations throughout Canada
