Anyone thinking the Dakburger is headed for a “sophomore slump” as it enters the fall season just hasn’t been paying attention.
Not only has the Dakburger become a fixture on the menu at all 12 Snuffer’s Restaurant & Bar locations, but the legendary Dallas brand believes the all-star burger can soar even higher in its second year.
“Let’s be honest … none of us expected the Dakburger to do as well as it did right out of the gates,” says Tim Schroder, Snuffer’s Vice President of Operations Services. “And yet there it was, delighting fans and generating rave reviews from the first bite. We’ve been incredibly impressed by how quickly the Dakburger passes every test it’s given, is just as great on the run and how it has inspired all the other burgers at Snuffer’s to step up their games and give North Texans a winner they can all cheer for.”
Beginning Sunday, Snuffer’s will celebrate the kickoff of football season by offering $1 off the Dakburger, and the special price will continue throughout the month.
The Dakburger is a 100 percent fresh ground chuck burger topped with Applewood smoked bacon strips, Hickory BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese and red onions on a poppy seed bun. Priced at just $7.79, the burger pairs perfectly with Snuffer’s famous Cheddar Fries—and football season. Price and participation may vary by location. $1 off through September 30 only.
“We’re inviting fans of the Dakburger and the boys in silver and blue to come by their favorite Snuffer’s this Sunday night, watch some football and experience the sweet taste of victory,” says Schroder.
Snuffer’s now has 12 restaurants throughout North Texas, with its newest location targeted to open in Mesquite in December.
