The board of directors of EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute has hired seasoned business and non-profit executive, Tom Nobbe, as interim CEO for EDWINS. Nobbe will serve in the position formerly held by EDWINS founder, Brandon Chrostowski, since 2013. Brandon took a leave of absence from EDWINS to focus on his Cleveland mayoral bid.

In his new role, Nobbe will oversee all aspects of EDWINS’ operations, including the restaurant, institute and prison programming, Second Chance Life Skills Center, and an expansion project. Nobbe’s expertise and experience uniquely position him to lead EDWINS during this transition period. His strong leadership background and commitment to social justice were instrumental in leading the board to its decision.

Prior to joining EDWINS, Nobbe held numerous director roles at Cleveland organizations, including the Health Action Council, the Cleveland Special Events Corporation, which promoted and managed the successful International Gay Games held in Northeast Ohio in 2014, University Hospitals, and Dix & Eaton. Nobbe’s first day is Wednesday, April 12.
