Rockit Ranch Productions, the Chicago-based hospitality group behind the local restaurant and entertainment concepts Rockit Bar & Grill, Rockit Burger Bar, The Duck Inn, Sunda, Bottlefork, Otto Mezzo, and The Underground, announced its plans to take its first step in expanding to new markets with a Sunda location slated to open in Nashville this fall at 592 12th Ave South in the heart of the Gulch.

Sunda’s flagship Chicago location (established 2009), which serves modern interpretations of traditional pan-Asian cuisine, is a local institution that has drawn accolades from several of the city’s top publications.

Mike Morales, current Chef de Cuisine & Partner at Sunda’s Chicago location, will serve as the new venue’s Executive Chef & Partner in Nashville.

“After decades of extensive culinary and culture-immersed travel throughout Southeast Asia, as well as inspiring success in Chicago with a team of top talent, we are so excited to extend our passion to new markets,” says Billy Dec, CEO of Rockit Ranch. “As part of our active plans for growth, my partners and I will continue to seek out new and exciting markets like Nashville in which to share the vibrant and diverse spirit of our Chicago-based Rockit Ranch concepts.”

Rockit Ranch has partnered with Fresh Hospitality, a Nashville-based hospitality group behind dozens of thriving dining concepts, and over 100 restaurants, such as Biscuit Love and Martin’s Bar-B-Que, to bring Sunda to the market in an almost 8,000 square-foot space owned by MarketStreet Enterprises, a privately held real estate development firm.
