Musumé, a full-service contemporary Asian restaurant, will join Stephan Pyles’ Flora Street Café as the second restaurant at HALL Arts in the Dallas Design District. The 5,000 square foot restaurant with a name that means “daughter” in Japanese is scheduled to open November of 2017.

Creator and co-owner Josh Babb of Rock Libations (the restaurant group behind Kenichi Dallas, Shooters in Victory Park, Chop Shop in Carrolton, and Chop Shop Live in Roanoke) says, “We look forward to being a part of this new project and feel strongly that having a location next to an award-winning chef’s fine dining restaurant will complement what we are creating for the Arts district guest.” Dana Foley of Gensler Designs is planning for a warm yet contemporary interior using natural materials, light and stylish textures.

“We are excited to have Musumé joining HALL Arts this year and think it will be a great fit for the neighborhood,” says Craig Hall, founder and chairman of HALL Group and developer of HALL Arts. “The restaurant concept will offer a new dining option to the companies at KPMG Plaza, and will also be a destination restaurant for diners to come and experience all of the activity happening on Flora Street in the Arts District.”

In the center of the world-renowned Dallas Arts District is HALL Arts, a 5-acre, mixed-use, three-phase development two full city blocks developed by HALL Group. Completed in 2015 and designed by internationally acclaimed architects HKS, Inc., the first phase of the development includes KPMG Plaza, an 18-story, 500,000 square-foot, Class AAA office building with 20,000 square feet of premium restaurant space; the adjacent, public Texas Sculpture Walk featuring famed Texas artists; the HALL Collection, comprised of commissions and installations of international works of art; and HALL Arts Parking, a seven-level underground parking facility offering the top Class AAA office parking ratio in the city. The second phase of the development will include an exclusive luxury condo high-rise with an attached boutique hotel.
