All-Purpose Pizzeria in Shaw and Boundary Stone in Bloomingdale will extend hours and offer special events and tap takeovers during the Craft Brewers Conference April 10—13.

All-Purpose Pizzeria will host a Maine Brewing Company tap takeover on Monday, April 10 at 5:30 p.m. Owners David & Daniel Kleban as well as several brewers will be in attendance. Beers on tap will include the Woods & Waters, an IPA with pine and citrus notes inspired by the great outdoors Lunch, an East Coast version of a West Coast IPA with intense hoppiness and tropical fruit, and A Tiny Beautiful Something, a pale ale brewed with El Dorado hops featuring intense candied orange and citrus flavors.

Chef Mike Friedman and his team at All Purpose have created a special Maine Beer Co.-inspired menu for this exciting tap takeover. Such specialties include a pizza aptly named Weathervane (a local bar Friedman frequented while living in Maine), topped with fried clams, smoked bacon, fontina crema, Calabrian chili and chives. To start the meal, the team will also offer rich and spicy ‘Nduja and Mozzarella Arancini with lemon aioli, as well as Veal “Milanese” with sunchoke crema, arugula & cherry bomb peppers.

All-Purpose Pizzeria is located at 1250 9th St NW, just across the street from the North end of the convention center. During CBC, All-Purpose will be open for lunch Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and remain open through dinner service beginning at 5:30 p.m. All-Purpose will be closed for lunch on Tuesday, April 11 and will open for dinner at 5:30 p.m.
