Upserve, a complete restaurant management platform for the restaurant industry, launched Upserve Live Wednesday, a new mobile app that provides restaurant owners and operators the ability to track trends, reporting and data as it happens from anywhere, anytime.

Upserve Live brings together from insights and data from the company’s full Restaurant Management Platform into a single, native app for the iPhone. The app makes it simple for restaurant owners, operators and managers to see what’s happening right now and how that compares to past performance, whether they’re in the restaurant, in the back office or enjoying a rare day off.

Features included in the Upserve Live include:

  • Ability to track front of house and back of house labor costs and trend lines and break down those costs by role
  • See sales and number of guests as they come in, and compare to past performance
  • View product mix reporting and server performance
  • Control discounts, voids and comps and see the reasoning behind them
  • See 86’d items as they happen
  • Click into any past day on the calendar to see performance and costs
  • Toggle between multiple locations and concepts without typing in a web browser or managing multiple logins

“For restaurateurs, time is a precious commodity. Every minute counts when you’ve have tables to turn, VIPs to greet, staff to train and food to serve,” says Rosie Atkins, vice president of product at Upserve. “Upserve Live is designed to save for time restaurant owners and operators while serving up real-time insights that give them the ability to run smoother shifts, improve performance, and grow their margins, even when they’re not on the floor.”

Upserve has always been committed to a native mobile approach to restaurant management. The company provided the Upserve Mobile app for several of its Upserve HQ features and also the Breadcrumb Live app for reporting from Breadcrumb POS, the industry’s leading cloud-based point of sale system. Upserve Live merges the best of these two apps into one, simplifying and improving access and usability. Upserve customers can log into the app using their Upserve HQ or Breadcrumb HQ credentials, and easily toggle between locations and concepts without switching between browsers, logins or apps.

Upserve acquired Breadcrumb POS in May of 2016. More than 8,000 restaurants nationwide use Upserve to manage over 44 million meals per month. The Restaurant Management Platform also includes payments processing with over 10 billion in restaurant sales under management.

The Upserve Live app can be downloaded directly from the Apple App Store here.
