On February 6, the management team from the Raleigh-based hospitality group, LM Restaurants, Inc., had the pleasure of congratulating one of their own as the North Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association’s Restaurant Manager of the Year. Brenda Johnson, a manager at the Carolina Ale House—Concord, was honored as the third employee from LM Restaurants, Inc. to receive such a prestigious award in five years.

“We are fortunate to have managers and staff who are consistently recognized as the top of their profession statewide,” says Amber Moshakos, vice president of corporate affairs. “Brenda is a true testament to the high level of hospitality we strive for within our company.”

Brenda has been working at Carolina Ale House (CAH) since 2015. She is a North Carolina native who started working in the hospitality industry in high school. Since joining CAH, her outstanding leadership, commitment to excellence, and tireless efforts to stay involved in the Concord community have been impressive. She is not only an exemplary manager, but also a community leader and philanthropist, orchestrating multiple outreach programs each year and elevating the CAH brand in the community.

“It’s an honor to receive this award,” says Brenda. “I’m humbled that my achievements earned me the nomination of Manager of the Year by my employer. It’s the values and corporate citizenship that Carolina Ale House advocates that enabled me to do such good work in my community. I’m thankful to be part of such an amazing team.”
