Tulkoff Food Products announce the addition of a vertical form fill seal machine to its East Coast manufacturing operations. The new equipment will be capable of packaging pillow pack style products. A pillow pack is packaging with a seam down the center of the back and heat sealed on both ends of the packaging. It is known to be one of the least expensive packaging materials and is common in foodservice industries.
Capabilities: 3 seal pillow pouch. Retail to food service sized packaging of 4oz up to gallon bag—sizes can vary based on density of product. Fills bulk hot or cold filled liquid food products with or without particulates. Packaging is unprinted clear pouches. Able to print logo, barcodes, simple text and date coding-black ink only.
