Cleveland-native Chef Michael Symon will soon expand his Midwestern burger restaurant B Spot to Ohio's first casino, Horseshoe Cleveland. B Spot will join area landmark deli Corky & Lenny's in the casino's three-outlet food court when the first-class gaming development opens in May.

Symon founded B Spot in 2009 in Cleveland's Eton and Strongsville neighborhoods to share his passion for burgers, bratwurst, and beer. He later opened restaurants in Westlake and a location inside Quicken Loans arena ("The Q"), catering to professional sports fans and concertgoers.

"We are ecstatic to have the opportunity to be part of this groundbreaking project in the heart of the greatest city in the nation," Symon says. "We can't wait to fill the Horseshoe with the aroma of our delicious burgers, brats and bologna."

B Spot will provide a hybrid menu featuring a selection of award-winning burgers with outrageous toppings and titles such as Fat Doug, Thin Lizzy, Symon Says, and Chilly Willy.

Guests will also enjoy other B Spot favorites such as Symon's signature Lola fries seasoned with sea salt and rosemary, onion rings, and milkshakes. The new outlet will create about 20 jobs.

B Spot's newest food court location inside Horseshoe Cleveland is designed to provide casino patrons with a variety of casual and quality fare in a quick-serve setting.

All casino dining will be open to the public, so Cleveland residents, workers, shoppers and visitors are also welcome to enjoy B Spot and Corky & Lenny's downtown menus, as well as a third venue to be named this spring. In addition to the food court, the casino will offer a 400-seat buffet restaurant.

"Michael is idolized throughout Cleveland and across the nation for cooking from the soul," says Horseshoe Cleveland General Manager Marcus Glover. "We're thrilled to showcase his culinary boldness while celebrating his native roots inside Horseshoe Cleveland."
