Texas de Brazil, a premier Brazilian steakhouse, announced thegrand opening of its critically acclaimed restaurant in Detroit, which is its 20th location.   

Located at 1000 Woodward Ave. inside the Compuware building, the 7,000-square-foot restaurant offers an extensive menu combining artful Southern Brazilian cuisine with the generous spirit of Texas.  

Boasting a private dining room for up to 30 guests and a 20-seat executive dining table near the wine room, this 190-seat restaurant is expected to attract diners of all ages with its interactive and entertaining dining experience.
 
Texas de Brazil offers a variety of grilled meats, all prepared in the traditional Brazilian method over an open flame and carved tableside by the restaurant’s authentically costumed Brazilian cowboys or “Gauchos.”

Regular dinners include salad area, meats, and side items for $39.99 per person; light dinners include salad area only for $24.99. 

In celebration of the opening, Texas de Brazil is offering special savings. For only $74 per couple, diners can enjoy two regular dinners, two desserts of the guests’ choice, non-alcoholic beverages, and a bottle of champagne or wine. The total cost is a savings of more than $55. Tax and gratuity are not included.  

Upon arrival to Detroit’s first Texas de Brazil, guests will be treated to the restaurant’s seasonal salad area, which includes appetizers, soups, salads, and an assortment of gourmet cheeses. They will then be invited to utilize the flip cards located at each seating area to begin their dining experience. When patrons flip their card to green, gaucho-clad carvers will be signaled to begin serving the restaurant’s seasoned meats from large sword-like skewers tableside, which are accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes, Brazilian cheese bread, and sweet-fried bananas.
