Beginning today, Bonefish Grill is offering wine enthusiasts and Train fans the opportunity to both enjoy the band's newest release and taste their newest creation.
Bonefish Grill is the only restaurant pouring new 'Drops of Jupiter 2009 Petite Sirah' wine, the inaugural varietal from Train's Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co.
"Bonefish Grill embodies a culture of infectious energy and happiness that is a perfect fit with our music and wine," says Train guitarist Jimmy Stafford.
"Our wine delivers versatile notes to suit everyone's tastes, making it the perfect complement for dinner or happy hour any night of the week at the Bonefish bar."
'Drops of Jupiter' is the natural evolution of Stafford's passion and enthusiasm for wines and wine bars, which he began sharing with fans by forming the Train Wine Club in 2010. The full-bodied Petite Sirah sings with boysenberry fruit notes and soft, supple tannins, pairing wonderfully with popping flavors such as Bonefish Grill's Ahi Tuna Sashimi, Tokyo Tuna, and Beef and Ginger Dumplings.
A portion of the proceeds of the wine will benefit Family House, a non-profit organization that Train is committed to, which provides temporary housing to families of seriously ill children.
"'Drops of Jupiter Petite Sirah' is an ideal addition to our expansive and evolving wine list," says Leigh Merritt, director of beverage innovation for Bonefish Grill.

Bonefish Grill is also giving fans a chance to enjoy the ultimate 'Drops of Jupiter' experience with dinner and a Train concert by entering Bonefish Grill's Drops of Jupiter Sweepstakes by October 14.
One lucky grand prize winner will win a VIP concert trip for two and a meet-and-greet with the band; other prizes include a Stafford-autographed guitar, Train-autographed CDs, and VIP dinners for two at Bonefish Grill.
