Donley’s Wild West Town, the Old West theme park in Union, Illinois, has announced a grand unveiling of their new, re-conceptualized restaurant, South Union Roadhouse, launching on Thursday, August 1. The former Wild West Steakhouse, which has been around since 1998, features artifacts from across the country, perfectly displayed throughout the dining room for a true southwestern experience.

Beginning at 8 p.m. on August 1, South Union Roadhouse will host a launch party featuring you-call-it drink specials, passed samples from the new menu, and live music on the patio featuring Jim and Justin from Modern Day Romeos. South Union Roadhouse will continue to have live entertainment every Thursday and Saturday night along with drink and food specials.

Perfect for lunch, dinner, or drinks, South Union Roadhouse’s updated menu combines Southwestern fare with American classics to create a variety of mouthwatering dishes. Signature items include juicy burgers, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and specials like the Beer Cheese Fondue made with Lone Star Beer straight from Texas. The restaurant is also participating in Chicago 250, a partnership with their meat distributor to use beef grown locally on natural grass pastures within 250 miles of Chicago. A variety of signature drinks will also be featured including western-style craft beers, whiskey inspired cocktails and a full Bloody Mary bar.

South Union Roadhouse is the perfect family dining destination during the day while also providing an entertaining nightlife scene; filled with live music, drink specials, and a spacious dance floor. The new venue also provides opportunities for special events and private parties. Their private room seats up to 50 people and is available for birthdays, showers, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, meetings, luncheons, and other events.
