The Melting Pot is continuing to support charity partner St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by helping to raise funds for research and treatment of childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases during the 2014 St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign.

From Oct. 11–Dec. 14, The Melting Pot will provide every guest who donates $10 to St. Jude with a Donate and Dine card valid for $20 off a future purchase of $50 or more. One hundred percent of donations will be given directly to St. Jude.

Since establishing its partnership with the hospital in 2003, The Melting Pot has raised more than $8.6 million for St. Jude.

The St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign began as a holiday-focused fundraising effort and has grown into an annual tradition that has raised more than $487 million over the past 10 years to help St. Jude provide cutting-edge treatment and pursue research. These funds are critical given that no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food.

“Our team members go above and beyond to support the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign each year,” says Mike Lester, president of The Melting Pot Restaurants.  “Additionally, our top-fundraising team members from across the U.S. have the opportunity to tour St. Jude to see the hospital’s important work firsthand and serve chocolate fondue to patients and their families at a special St. Jude fondue party.”

“Their dedication to the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign will help raise awareness and funds that support the research that leads to life saving treatments,” says Marlo Thomas, national outreach director for St. Jude. “Their support will also help us stay true to my father's promise that no family pays St. Jude for anything.”
