Lone Star Steakhouse Honors Educators This Month

Lone Star Steakhouse knows trudging back to school after a restful and fun-filled holiday break is tough for any kid, but it can be just as jarring for their teachers.

As thousands of educators, administrators, and school employees across North Carolina prepare for the upcoming semester, the popular steakhouse is ready to show its appreciation for these often-unsung community heroes.

Lone Star Steakhouse is rolling out its teacher appreciation program at each of its 13 restaurants across the state. From elementary schools in Mt. Airy to high schools in Monroe to the professors at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, all school employees will be treated to a free Texas Rose starter or dessert brownie, with no purchase necessary. The offer ends Saturday, Jan. 31.

This special offer is open to anyone with an official identification badge issued by any local elementary, middle, high school or college, public or private, including teachers, teachers’ aids, administrators, custodians, bus drivers, and others.

Educators are asked to show their ID badge to their server at any Lone Star Steakhouse in North Carolina to receive their free treat.
