The Carolina Panthers, who will meet the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, California, on February 7, inspired a milkshake at The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Pounder Cake Shake is a take on the Birthday Cake Shake enjoyed by safety Kurt Coleman, a regular at Cowfish. The item will be available through February 14.

The Pounder Cake Shake is made with 1 pound of vanilla ice cream, pound cake and Panthers-colored sprinkles. It’s meant to be enjoyed by two people, or one NFL player.

All proceeds from the sale of each $6 shake will benefit one of Coleman’s favorite charities—the New Perspective Foundation. New Perspective Foundation is a non-profit that helps individuals in Coleman’s native Ohio and Florida who are hospitalized due to a spinal cord injury. The organization assists their family and friends with airfare, gas, and lodging expenses.

“Like everyone else in the Carolinas, we’ve caught Panther Fever,” says Alan Springate, The Cowfish co-owner. “There isn’t a cure, but we think the Pounder Cake Shake is a great balm. This monster milkshake is our way of encouraging the Panthers to keep pounding.”
