Travelers at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas can now take a trip back in time to the 1960s by visiting the newly remodeled Ruby’s Diner. 

Opening today, the new Ruby’s Diner features the familiar and delicious menu of burgers, fries, shakes, and breakfast in a groovy 1960s-inspired setting accented with space-inspired light fixtures, padded wire chairs, mod-styled uniforms, and images of innovators, style icons, and cool cats on the walls.

“The retro décor gives Ruby’s guests a new perspective on the past and an opportunity for a new conversation about what makes America great while enjoying the delicious food our guests have come to love from Ruby’s,” says Larry Sidoti, vice president of development at Ruby Restaurant Group.

“This flashback to the '60s will propel Ruby’s into the future as the company continues to grow through both franchising and new company-owned locations," he adds.

The décor highlights icons of the '60s such as John and Jackie Kennedy, Neil Armstrong, Marilyn Monroe, the Beatles, and Johnny Cash interspersed on the walls with replica vintage concert posters and paired with music that captures the best of the era to create a vibrant experience. 

For millions who came of age in 1960s, these iconic figures and inventive music had a significant influence on culture, philosophy, style, and so much more. This influence helped the nation’s youth challenge the status quo and usher in a new era of progress. 

At Ruby’s these elements combine to create a wave of nostalgia for the boomer generation while building a bridge to the era for younger generations.

This Ruby’s location originally opened in 1998 and closed for remodeling earlier this year. Operated by HMS Host, this Ruby’s offers seating for more than 135 and a full bar and will be open from 4:15 a.m. to 11 p.m.
