First Watch opened the doors to its newest location in Raleigh’s Triangle Town Center.

The opening comes just six months after the first Raleigh First Watch opening on Glenwood Avenue. The new First Watch is the second of five planned locations in the Raleigh-Durham market as part of a franchise agreement with VIM Holdings.

The president and founder of the franchise group, Robert Frame, has more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, having held executive positions with both LongHorn Steakhouse and Waffle House.

Before joining First Watch, he was COO of Apple Gold, an Applebee’s franchise with more than 130 locations in six states and headquartered in Raleigh.

“The support from the people in my home market of Raleigh in the six months since we opened the first location has been incredible,” Frame says. “We definitely saw a gap in the breakfast and lunch market here that needed to be filled, and First Watch has proven to be the perfect fit.”

The new location also brings First Watch’s new restaurant design, which creates an atmosphere that combines the high energy of city life with comfortable farm elements.

“Raleigh is one of the fastest-growing cities in the country right now, which is why we’re thrilled to be opening our second North Carolina First Watch with our fresh design in this booming area,” says Chris Tomasso, chief marketing officer for First Watch.
