Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is opening its first location in Tennessee. The new restaurant opened its doors on March 9 and be located just west of Knoxville, in Farragut, at 11683 Parkside Dr. in the Turkey Creek Center.

The restaurant will be the second location owned by CPR Burgers, LLC, which is comprised of cardiologist Richard Miller, MD, Curtis Rowan, and restaurant construction expert OP Ponce. The three already opened a first location in Greenville, South Carolina, in 2013, and are now expanding their portfolio with the Knoxville unit.

“It’s exciting to see that our first franchise owners have experienced such incredible success with their Greenville location that they are expanding into an untapped market,” says Frank Scibelli, founder of Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar. “Knoxville is a great market with a great food scene and we look forward to being part of their community.”

Customized for the market, the Knoxville restaurant will have a greater emphasis on the bar area than other Bad Daddy’s locations and showcase local craft brews with 24 handles on tap. The new location will feature an indoor/outdoor patio with a roll-up door for year-round usability and it will have 24 seats around the bar, whereas the typical Bad Daddy’s bar seats 10-12.

“We cannot wait to get the doors open,” says Marty Fayette, restaurateur for CPR Burgers.
