Benihana Inc., the  operator of Japanese theme and sushi restaurants, has announced the May Chef's Specials: Shrimp and Chicken for Two for $40 and Hibachi Tuna Steak for $22. Both Chef's Special entrées come with Benihana onion soup, Benihana salad, hibachi shrimp appetizer, hibachi vegetables, homemade dipping sauces, steamed rice, and Japanese hot green tea.

Guests can enjoy the featured Shrimp and Chicken for Two, grilled with fresh mushrooms, and crunchy sesame seeds. They can also try the mouthwatering Hibachi Tuna Steak, a sesame-crusted tuna steak with tomato, avocado, and edamame covered in a white balsamic sauce.

Benihana allows guests to complete the meal with one of its suggested beverage pairings. The topical flavors of mango, pineapple, and papaya found in the Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay pair well with the Shrimp and Chicken for Two, while zesty hints of fresh lemon in the Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc couples well with the Hibachi Tuna Steak.

For a quick and flavorful meal, Benihana offers a Lounge Menu. The Tempura Dinner Boat, for $16, comes with Benihana onion soup, Benihana salad, edamame, California roll, tempura chicken on a skewer, tempura colossal shrimp, and vegetables. This meal pairs with the Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat ale, offering a crisp, fruitful flavor with a dry finish. Another option is the Sushi Sampler for $7, including a savory combination of tuna, yellowtail, shrimp, Izumidai, and salmon. Guests can complement the meal with the Benihana Hot Sake, Benihana's famous, award-winning signature sake.

The specials can be found at all Benihana restaurants, with the exception of Las Vegas, Little Rock, and some international locations.
