First Watch announced plans to expand its presence in Ohio with the opening of a new restaurant in Macedonia. First Watch has six additional Cleveland restaurants including Westlake, Rocky River, Mayfield Heights, Fairlawn, University Heights, and Solon. The Macedonia restaurant will open in spring 2015.

“We are so excited to continue to be a part of such an up and coming foodie market like Cleveland,” says Chris Tomasso, chief marketing officer for First Watch.

The Macedonia First Watch will be located in an end cap space in the new the Macedonia Marketplace located on the Northeast corner of Route 82 and Route 8. The 3,500-square-foot restaurant will have an outdoor patio for dining and will employ approximately 25 people.

The new restaurant’s design will accentuate an open-kitchen concept, which reinforces First Watch’s honest approach to fresh food preparation. All menu items are freshly prepared to order and the restaurant does not use deep fryers or heat lamps.
