Roots Handmade Pizza, part of Chicago’s The Fifty/50 Restaurant Group, is gearing up to wow guests this season. Beginning October 1, Roots launches its annual fall chef pizza series, partnering with some of Chicago’s most notable chefs on a lineup of truly unique pies. The new group of chefs each rolled up their sleeves in the Roots kitchen creating inspired pizzas representing their cooking styles, and it’s time to dig in.

Move over pepperoni, Roots’ fall series brings a new level of tastiness with a slew of pizzas curated by Chicago chefs eager for theirs to become a new Roots favorite. Representing a number of the city’s finest culinary talents, the lineup includes urbanbelly’s Chef Bill Kim, Osteria Langhe’s Chef Cameron Grant, Salero's Chef Ashlee Aubin, Green Zebra’s Chef David Chapman, and Dos Urban Cantina‘s Chef Brian Enyart. With special touches and signature flair from each of the chefs, there’s now one more reason that pizza is everyone’s favorite food.

Chef creations from past years, including from Chef Rick Ortiz of Antique Taco and Chef Ed Sura of Perennial Virant, were so crave-worthy they became menu staples. Flavors ranging from Italian to Mexican and even Asian barbeque, these creations are sure to stimulate taste buds across Chicago through November 23.

Far beyond the traditional toppings, the only downside is which pizza to try first this season. The fall chef series is available at both Roots locations—Lincoln Square and West Town—and runs from October 1 through November 23.
